Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari recently visited a newly established paddle sports facility at Bagh-e-Ibn-e-Qasim in Karachi, highlighting the city’s growing sports scene.

The facility, set up by Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab, is part of the Sindh government’s efforts to revitalize public spaces and promote healthy, active lifestyles among residents.

Bilawal was accompanied by Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, and other officials during the visit. The PPP leader participated in a friendly paddle match with Mayor Wahab and CM Shah, showcasing the sport’s increasing popularity in Karachi.

The leaders later posed for a photo, symbolizing their collective commitment to promoting sports and recreational activities in the city. The new facility is part of a broader initiative to expand recreational opportunities and encourage Karachiites to utilize public spaces positively.

Mayor Murtaza Wahab, who has spearheaded several urban development projects, expressed hope that the paddle sports facility would inspire more residents to engage in sports and adopt healthier lifestyles. The initiative aligns with the Sindh government’s vision to transform Karachi into a more vibrant and active metropolis.
