Rescue officials discovered a man with over 500,000 rupees on Khushab Road in Sargodha after receiving reports of an unconscious individual.

The Rescue 1122 team responded promptly and provided initial medical assistance. During their intervention, they found 534,000 rupees in cash and a passport in the man’s pockets.

Mazhar Shah, the District Emergency Officer, informed the media that the individual, Mushtaq, had multiple visas for Saudi Arabia in his passport, indicating frequent travel to the country. After receiving initial medical treatment at DHQ Hospital, authorities discharged Mushtaq and returned his passport and money to him.

Mazhar Shah revealed that residents claim Mushtaq frequently begs in the area and may belong to a professional group of beggars who travel to Saudi Arabia for the same purpose and then return. His team transported him to DHQ Hospital, where he received medical care. Upon discharge, authorities returned his money to him.

Additionally, during a recent FIA Immigration operation at Multan Airport, officials offloaded eight women bound for Saudi Arabia to beg. These women, from Bahawalnagar and travelling on two flights, had 200 riyals. The operation prevented their travel as part of a crackdown on such activities.
