Both Russia & Belgium entered as “Dark Horses” in Brazil, with lots of good displays and lots of expectations. Still so far, neither Belgium nor Russia had succeeded to impress. Anyhow, in the Battle of the Reds, Belgium did win against Russia with the help of a late goal from Origi. The game ends 1-0 in favor of Belgium.
As the hosts of the next World Cup and provided with a talented squad, there were a lot of expectations from Russia. Belgium on other hand, was named amongst “The Best Emerging Teams.”
Belgium leads the group with 6 points. Russia & Korea are tied at 1 points each.
Korea will play Algeria in the other game of the group.
