At least two police personnel were injured in a suicide attack on a police station in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bannu district on Tuesday.
District Police Officer (DPO) Bannu Fazal Hamid while talking to media said, “A militant crashed an explosives-laden vehicle at the gate of Mandan Police Station in Bannu and an explosion followed”.
According to eyewitnesses, a militant hit a car loaded with explosives at Mandan police station gate.
The police officials claimed that the attacker was killed by fire.
Security officials cordoned off the area and started to examine the site of the blast, for which there has been no immediate claim of responsibility.
