Balochistan National Party (BNP-Mengal) and National Party organized protest rallies in Quetta and other parts of the province in opposition to the Reko Diq law passed by the parliament.

BNP-M rally in Quetta began at the Metropolitan Corporation, where party leaders and members had congregated. After the rally, participants marched along the principal streets and roads while carrying placards and banners bearing their requests.

They screamed slogans against the Reko Diq agreement and sought recognition of Baloch sovereignty and rights over the Balochistan coastline.

BNP-central M’s deputy secretary general and parliamentary leader Malik Naseer Ahmad Shahwani, former senator Dr. Jahanzeb Jamaldini, member of the central executive committee and district president Ghulam Nabi Marri, and district general secretary of BSO Atif Rodini Baloch addressed the public meeting at Mezeen Chowk.
