Balochistan’s Local Government (LG )elections began Sunday.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) says polls are held in Lasbela, Hub, and Haramzai of Pashin. Uninterrupted voting will continue until 5 pm.
In 146 Balochistan LG wards, 27 candidates won unopposed.
153,236 male and 119,087 female voters are registered in these two districts. 259 polling locations and 690 booths serve voters. 6,151 male, and 4,739 female voters will choose the Haramzai, Pishin, District municipal committee.
Haramzai, Pishin district, has 13 polling stations and 30 voting booths for elections.
Haramzai’s municipal committee has 79 candidates. Nine polling stations are sensitive, and 42 are highly sensitive.
