Wasu Khan, a Baloch folk singer, passed away on Friday in Sukkur. Wasu Khan was known for his distinguished singing style.
Pakistan’s Pop singer, Shehzad Roy, also collaborated with Wasu Khan in the past, shared the information on Twitter, and said, “Wasu Khan passed away this morning. He was unable to read and write, but had great political intellect and wrote political satire. We will miss him. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un”
Wasu suffered from respiratory difficulties when he was admitted to a private hospital, where he died.
After seeing the awful living, Shahzad Roy contacted the singer. Then, Apney Ulloo has taken measures to aid Wasu Khan by bringing the matter to the attention of the Baloch authorities.
