The death toll rose to 171 as four more injured of the Ahmedpur Sharqia oil tanker fire succumb to burn wounds.
All four deceased were under treatment at the burn unit of Nishtar Hospital in Multan.
The four were between the ages of 12 and 22, including a 12-year-old, 16-year-old Samiullah, 18-year-old Farhan and 22-year-old Abdul Khaliq.
So far 27 people affected by the incident have succumbed to their burn wounds at the hospital.
On Wednesday, the oil tanker driver also died at the burn unit.
The incident took place on a route of the National Highway on June 25, a day before Eid was to be celebrated in most parts of the country.
