Starting September 20, 2023, Azerbaijan’s national airline, AZAL, is set to commence regular flights to Pakistan, connecting to its capital, Islamabad, and the major cities of Lahore and Karachi.

The spokesman for the Azerbaijan Embassy remarked, “Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad are not just significant cities in Pakistan but also crucial cultural and historical hubs, making them ideal destinations for travellers.”

The flight schedule from Baku is meticulously planned for convenience. Travellers can catch flights to Islamabad on Wednesdays and Saturdays, Lahore on Mondays and Fridays, and Karachi on Thursdays and Sundays.

This initiative by AZAL isn’t merely about expanding its flight routes. It embodies the vision to enhance Azerbaijan-Pakistan ties, foster tourism, bolster international transportation, and reinforce diplomatic relations.

For those eager to plan their journey, flight schedules and ticket bookings are available on AZAL’s official website and its mobile application.
