Pakistani singer Atif Aslam has released his first song of 2024, “Jee Ve Sohneya Jee.” This track is the title song for the posthumous film featuring Pakistani actor Imran Abbas and Indian actor Simi Chahal. The film, a cross-border collaboration, is eagerly anticipated.

The official trailer reveals a love story set against the Punjab backdrop. Directed by Thapar and produced by Sunny Raj, the film promises a romantic journey through Punjab’s stunning landscapes.

Atif Aslam’s rendition of “Jee Ve Sohneya Jee” complements the film’s narrative. His voice captures the essence of young love, facing challenges and boundaries. The music video, featuring scenes from the film, builds anticipation.

It opens with intimate moments of the couple and progresses to a poignant scene of Chahal’s decision to leave her lover. The video juxtaposes Punjab’s beauty with Abbas’s conflicting engagement, suggesting an unexpected romance.

Atif’s song, chronicling this romance, will be released on February 16. His last work, “Zindagi,” a reinterpretation of Mehdi Hassan’s classic, showcased a blend of modern Sufi and folk-pop styles.
