Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are contemplating a move from the US due to ongoing scrutiny, now linked to Kutcher’s association with Sean “Diddy” Combs.
An insider told In Touch that Diddy’s drama has influenced the couple’s thoughts about relocating to Europe. “Ashton is upset about being embroiled in controversy again due to past associations,” the source stated. “First with Danny Masterson and now Diddy. He views Hollywood as problematic.”
After spending the summer in Europe, the couple’s interest in moving has intensified. Their travels included attending Taylor Swift’s Eras tour in London with their children in June, which they enjoyed far from the Hollywood glare.
“The wonderful experience in Europe has made relocation there a top consideration for them,” the insider noted. “They believe Europe could provide a more stable and serene environment for their children.”
Yet, their extensive business engagements in the U.S. significantly challenge this plan. “The distance from their work might make Europe too impractical,” the source added.
Northern California is also under consideration as an alternative. “Ashton is drawn to Silicon Valley’s tech scene, and it could offer their children a more typical life, away from Hollywood’s tumult,” said the insider. “They find Hollywood’s superficiality exhausting, and even a move to Montecito seems insufficient.”
Kutcher’s latest controversy centers on his connection to Diddy, arrested in September 2023 for racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. Old interviews where Kutcher speaks positively about his friendship with Diddy have resurfaced, complicating the situation. In a 2019 interview on Hot Ones, Kutcher reflected on their friendship and the notorious parties Diddy hosted, admitting, “I’ve got a lot I can’t tell.”
