ARY acquires majority stake in Nukta as ARY Digital Network moves to strengthen its position in Pakistan’s fast-changing digital media space.
The acquisition brings Nukta into ARY Group’s expanding media ecosystem, which spans television, digital platforms and international markets. ARY said the move supports its broader strategy of pairing broadcast strength with digital storytelling and audience engagement.
Salman Iqbal, Founder of ARY Digital Network and CEO of ARY Group, said the deal is aimed at growing ARY’s digital presence while building on its broadcast footprint. He said the combined platform will focus on journalism and innovative storytelling built for digital audiences.
Nukta will continue operating from its Dubai headquarters, while becoming part of ARY Group’s wider international network. The announcement said this will allow Nukta to leverage ARY’s scale, credibility and production capabilities to expand its audience and content offerings.
