Personnel of Karachi Anti-Car Lifting Cell shot dead a young boy in Defence Housing Authority’s Khayaban-e-Ittehad area early Sunday morning.
DIG Crime Investigation Agency Saqib Ismail speaking to media said that Anti-Car Lifting Cell personnel has shot the young boy identified as Intezar Ahmed.
Saqib Ismail, said that the deceased’s father can register a case against the police officials.
The police had earlier maintained that the man, identified as Intezar Ahmed, was killed in firing by unidentified assailants on motorcycles.
Intezar Ahmed’s father has registered FIR at the Darakshan Police Station and four policemen were taken into custody due to their alleged involvement in the case.
The deceased’s father, Ishtiaq Ahmed, informed the media that Intezar, who recently come back from Malaysia, had a fight with two men two days back — Fahad and Haider, sons of a lawyer and policeman, respectively.
