Charsadda: Awami National Party’s (ANP) leader Dost Muhammad Khan was shot dead in Charsadda on Thursday (today) morning, as unidentified assailants opened fire on ANP’s office in the city.
Khan died on the spot, while another party worker sustained injuries after getting shot.
Khan’s body was shifted to Charsadda Hospital later, for a post mortem.
He was an active member of ANP District Charsadda.
Police said it was incident of target killing. The attackers managed to flee the scene. Security personnel cordoned off the area and a probe into the incident went underway
