Lahore : A convicted prisoner has been hanged till death in Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat Jail early Wednesday morning.
The death house inmate, Zulfiqar, was hanged this morning at the gallows for killing two people in 1998. He gunned them down during his robbery attempt in Islamabad. Ever since, he had been in police custody.
He was executed after Lahore High Court, Supreme Court of Pakistan and president had rejected his clemency appeals.
Members of his family received his body.
