Yet another body was recovered from Karachi’s Sea View area as the death toll rose to 39 today. Meanwhile Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has ordered the formation of an investigation committee to probe the multiple tragic incidents.
Senior Member of the Board of Revenue will be the head of the commission whereas Interior Secretary and Administration Secretary will be its members. The team will present its report to CM Sindh in five days.
Chief Secretary has issued a notification regarding the formation of the commission.
The probe will determine the culpability of the people responsible for the incident and suggestions to control such tragedies in the future.
