Andrew Tate faced mockery for stating that only “gay” men enjoy sex with women. Critics harshly ridiculed his views.
Tate, 37, known for controversial statements, recently asserted on social media that men should engage in sexual activity solely for procreation, labelling those who seek pleasure as “gay.”
His comments, posted on X.com, included, “Sex is for making children. Any man who has sex with women because it ‘feels good’ is gay.” He further questioned men’s masculinity based on their number of children.
The backlash was swift, with many mocking his logic and questioning his sexuality. Comments ranged from sarcastic inquiries about his number of children to calls for him to delete his social media accounts.
Later, Tate, a former UFC fighter, claimed his remarks were sarcastic, meant to provoke and amuse. He criticized those taking his comments seriously, attributing their reactions to the amusement he derived from such posts.
Currently detained in Romania on serious charges, Tate’s controversial stance continues to stir debate; awaiting trial there and facing extradition to the UK for separate charges, which he denies.
