Legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan shared his enthusiasm for a forthcoming project with his son, Abhishek Bachchan.
On X (formerly Twitter), he posted a photo from a dubbing session, captioned poetically, hinting at their collaboration and indicating a joint return to the screen. The specifics of this new venture remain under wraps.
The duo has previously co-starred in notable films such as “Bunty Aur Babli,” “Sarkar,” “Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna,” “Sarkar Raj,” and “Paa.”
Further images from the session appeared on Amitabh’s Tumblr blog. He expressed the sheer joy of working with Abhishek, hinting at more such collaborations in the future.
Amitabh often celebrates his son’s accomplishments. Recently, he commemorated the 20th anniversary of Abhishek’s film “Yuva” on Instagram. He recalled a touching moment when Abhishek dedicated his award to him at the ceremony.
“Yuva,” a 2004 film directed by Mani Ratnam, featured a star-studded cast including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, and Vivek Oberoi.
Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in “Ghoomer” with Saiyami Kher. Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming film, “Kalki 2898 AD,” directed by Nag Ashwin and starring Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, and Kamal Haasan, is set for release on June 27.
