Jason Biggs, known for playing Jim Levenstein in the American Pie series, spoke to PEOPLE magazine about coming back for a fifth movie.
“I’d love to do it. Many of us would,” Biggs said, confirming he is involved despite past problems. He added, “There are lots of moving parts, especially behind the scenes.”
Talks for American Pie 5 stalled in 2021, as co-star Thomas Ian Nicholas said in November 2024 at Rhode Island Comic Con. Tara Reid, who played Vicky, also mentioned a “really funny” script, boosting excitement.

Biggs explained that it is hard to get everyone’s schedules and crews aligned. “There are many people to get on board,” he said.
The first American Pie came out in 1999. It had three sequels, with American Reunion in 2012 being the last. There were also five spinoff movies released between 2005 and 2020. Fans love the mix of humour and nostalgia.
Biggs’s coming back signals a fresh start for the series. The project is highly anticipated by fans looking for new laughs with the beloved characters.
