Former child star Amanda Bynes has embarked on a new chapter by joining OnlyFans, a popular subscription-based platform.
In a recent Instagram Story, Bynes said, “I’m doing OnlyFans to chat with my fans through DMs. I won’t be posting any sleazy content.” Her message sets a clear tone for her account, focusing on personal engagement rather than explicit material.
OnlyFans hosts a variety of content, from adult entertainment to creative pursuits like cooking shows and live streams. Bynes has priced her subscription at $50 per month, reflecting her intent to cultivate a unique connection with her followers.

Bynes rose to prominence in 1996 on Nickelodeon’s All That, later headlining The Amanda Show from 1999 to 2002. She continued her success on the WB’s What I Like About You alongside Jennie Garth from 2002 to 2006. In the early 2000s, Bynes transitioned to film, starring in hits like What a Girl Wants (2003), She’s the Man (2006), and Hairspray (2007). Her final acting role came in 2010’s Easy A, after which she retired from acting at age 24. “Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem,” she tweeted then. “If I don’t love something anymore, I stop doing it.”
Personal Challenges and Resilience
After stepping away from Hollywood, Bynes encountered personal struggles, including a 2012 DUI charge and subsequent legal issues. In 2013, she was placed under a conservatorship following a 72-hour psychiatric hold. The conservatorship ended in 2022, though she faced another brief hold in 2023. Despite these setbacks, Bynes has shown determination to redefine her path.

In recent years, Bynes explored new interests. She launched a short-lived podcast, Amanda Bynes & Paul Sieminski: The Podcast, available on Spotify and YouTube. She also began training to become a manicurist, sharing in 2024, “I started back at school to study manicurist theory and practice acrylics before I take the board exam again.” In December 2023, she co-hosted a pop-up art show with fashion designer Austin Babbitt, showcasing her artwork and clothing designs.
Bynes’ fans have stood by her through thick and thin. One supporter commented on Instagram, “We love you, chica! You entertained us for decades. You are a legend! Do your thing, figure it out, fall apart, and put it back together. We are here for you always.” This outpouring of love underscores her enduring impact.
