Karachi Traffic Police has issued traffic advisory for alternative routes for December 23 on return of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
According to the press release issued by the office of Deputy Inspector General of Traffic Police, the commuters have been forewarned to avoid going to the venue of the airport rally and use alternative routes in order to avert any problems.
Zardari will return to Pakistan tomorrow.

Alternative routes for Airport (Jinnah International Airport):
- Residents of Clifton and Defence are advised to use Hino Chowrangi and Korangi Indistrial Area Road, from Murtaza Chowrangi via link road, from Malir City Thana to Malir Halt, Model Colony Road to Airport Road.
- Resident of Liaquatabad Gulshan Area are advised to use University Road, Safoora, from Malir Cantt to Check post-6 Model Colony Road to the airport.
Hospital routes:
- Use Seaview Road and China Chowrangi to go to Ziaud Din Hospital.
- Use Bahria Underpass to go to South City Hospital.
- To go to Jinnah Hospital, residents of Clifton and Defence will use Chaudhry Khaliq-uz-Zaman Road, from Cantt area to School Road.
- To go to Jinnah Hospital, residents of Korangi and Landhi will use Korangi Road to CSD and from left side to Jinnah Hospital.
- To go to Jinnah Hospital, residents of Garden and Saddar will use Saddar route.
- To go to Liaquat National Hospital and Agha Khan Hospital, the routes of University Road, New Town to Stadium Road will be used.
- To go to Liaquat National Hospital and Agha Khan Hospital, people coming from East and Malir will use Malir Halt, Model Colony Road via link road to Malir Cantt check post-6, Safoora to University Road.
