Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain announced to dissolve the party over displeasure with Coordination Committee, took back his decision early Thursday morning.
MQM Chief was displeased over the performance of Rabita Committee (Coordination Committee) and directed all organizational offices at Nine Zero and Khurshid Memorial Hall to be shut down immediately.
Hussain didn’t stopped here he also announced to abolish his party and cut off the phone line.
Addressing party workers he added “I urge upon the Coordination Committee to become brave and undaunted. If not, they’d better sit back at home by resigning from their offices,”
Hussain remarked that Rabita Committee was asked to convene a large demonstration but it failed in coming up to the mark in this regard.
A couple of hours after the announcement regarding the abolishment of the party, he again addressed the party workers at Nine Zero and announced to withdraw his decision.
Altaf directed to reopen all the organizational departments at Nine Zero and Khurshid Memorial Hall.
