Restoration Efforts and Previous Incident
Following the incident, railway authorities swiftly arrived at the scene with the help of heavy machinery. They have initiated operations to restore the affected track and resume the rail services.
This is not the first incident of its kind in recent months. A similar situation unfolded on June 1, when a carriage of the Mianwali Express derailed in Chak Jhumra, a town near Faisalabad. The train was en route from Lahore to Mianwali when the unfortunate incident occurred, injuring at least 10 people. Post-incident, rescue teams quickly responded, ensuring the injured passengers were transported to the hospital for necessary medical attention.
