Pakistani actress Alizeh, celebrated for her captivating roles in Superstar and Ehd-e-Wafa, has announced her departure from social media, citing emotional challenges and harsh public scrutiny.

The 25-year-old star, who gained fame as a youth icon thanks to her powerful performances, confirmed her decision to quit social media through an Instagram Story on April 27, 2025. In her post, she stated, “She Quits,” and described social media as “hell” before deleting all her previous posts.

In recent weeks, Alizeh had opened up about her struggles, sharing that while she projects strength in public, she has been grappling with private battles. “I’ve never compromised my morals for acting roles, yet I face relentless judgment,” she wrote, highlighting the toll of public criticism. Her candid posts resonated with fans, who admired her vulnerability but expressed concern for her well-being.

Alizeh’s decision follows a stellar career trajectory since her debut, earning her critical acclaim and a loyal fan base. Her roles in Superstar (2019), where she portrayed a young actress navigating fame, and Ehd-e-Wafa (2019), a drama about friendship and sacrifice, showcased her versatility and emotional depth. Despite her success, the pressures of fame and online negativity appear to have influenced her choice to step back from social platforms.

The actress’s exit has sparked discussions about the mental health challenges public figures face in the digital age. Fans and industry peers have voiced support, urging respect for her privacy as she navigates this difficult period. While Alizeh has not indicated whether her break is permanent, her announcement underscores the need for compassion in online interactions.
