Aleema Khan, the sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, was attacked with eggs outside Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi while speaking to journalists after a Toshakhana case hearing.
Two women, identified by police as PTI supporters from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, threw the eggs. Aleema was briefly startled but quickly regained her composure. “We don’t care about attacks. We expected this,” she told reporters before leaving in her car to avoid further trouble.
Rawalpindi Police later confirmed that the women were part of protests organised by the All Government Employees Grand Alliance and APCA. The protest focused on Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur over delayed salaries.
Shameful, ghatiya and unacceptable harkat by whoever threw the egg on Aleema Khan.
This is not how politics should be done. Dont turn into idiots who run after cars, gather outside homes and plan raids and mobs in other countries. pic.twitter.com/7sc13iK2xs

Police said the egg-throwing happened after Aleema refused to answer their questions. The women were detained and shifted to Adiala Police Post for questioning. PTI leaders condemned the incident. Former MPA Seemabia Tahir accused the women of trying to create chaos and target PTI leadership.

PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan also denounced the attack, calling it the first physical assault on Imran Khan’s family. He warned: “Someone wants to escalate tensions by targeting the family.” He demanded stronger security for the Khan family.
The attack on Aleema Khan highlights rising tensions around PTI amid Imran Khan’s ongoing legal battles. It has also raised concerns about political stability and the safety of his family.
