AlBaik Food System Company, a renowned Saudi food chain, is set to enter the Pakistani market following the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Gas and Oil Pakistan Ltd (Go) under the auspices of the Saudi Ministry of Investment.

The Jeddah-based chain is famed for its broasted chicken, fries, delicious nuggets, and various sauces, which have garnered a loyal following among visitors to Saudi Arabia, particularly Pakistani expatriates who consider a trip to the kingdom incomplete without tasting AlBaik’s offerings.

In line with Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to export its national expertise and expand its commercial reach globally, this agreement will explore establishing a strategic partnership to develop and operate Al Baik restaurants across Pakistan, marking a significant step in Al Baik’s international expansion efforts.

The signing ceremony, hosted by Saudi Minister of Investment Engineer Khalid Al-Falih, was attended by high-ranking delegations from Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, highlighting bilateral cooperation.

This development is a testament to the Saudi Ministry of Investment’s ongoing commitment to promoting Saudi brands abroad and enhancing the kingdom’s profile in the global economic landscape.

Go, a key player in Pakistan’s oil and gas sector is now partly owned by Saudi Aramco, which has a 40% stake. This represents the kingdom’s broader strategy to diversify its economy and forge new avenues for growth in international markets.

This partnership not only supports the goals of Vision 2030 but also reinforces Saudi Arabia’s ambition to be a leading economic powerhouse regionally and globally.
