An Al Kharj projectile kills two Saudi Arabia incident was reported on Sunday after a “military projectile” struck a residential area in Al Kharj governorate, south of Riyadh, Saudi civil defence said.
The civil defence agency said an Indian and a Bangladeshi national were killed, while 12 others were injured. The statement did not name the party responsible for the projectile.
The report says Al Kharj has been targeted repeatedly over the past week as the conflict in the region escalated, with Iran launching missiles and drones toward Gulf neighbours.
