Balochistan National Party Mengal (BNP-M) Chairman Akhtar Mengal criticized the federal government for not informing his party about Reko Diq.

Akhtar Mengal told a private TV channel that occupied territories are treated equally and denied their rights. He claimed Balochistan wasn’t given proper project rights.

Mengal claimed Balochistan couldn’t be a Reko Diq commercial partner. He stated that Balochistan’s people have the first right to benefit from the Reko Dig mines.

The BNP-M leader stated his party wasn’t consulted about foreign investment laws. He noted that they weren’t consulted before the bill passed.

Mengal stated JUI-F and BNP oppose the law and would make decisions soon. He threatened to leave the ruling alliance.
