Security agencies have detained the Deputy Superintendent of Adiala Jail, Muhammad Akram, amid serious allegations of misconduct.
Akram is accused of using his position to facilitate Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), while allegedly transmitting messages on Khan’s behalf.
The charges suggest that the Deputy Superintendent exceeded his official authority to provide unauthorized assistance to Imran Khan during his incarceration. These actions have raised significant concerns, leading to Akram’s arrest.
Authorities have launched a thorough investigation to determine the extent of his involvement and any potential breaches of protocol. The case is currently under close scrutiny as the investigation progresses.
