Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan recently wrapped up shooting for his upcoming film, Sitare Zameen Par. Directed by RS Prasanna, the final scene was shot on Sunday night at Film City, Mumbai.
The film has now moved into post-production, focusing on editing, visual effects, and sound design. A one-day patch shoot, which began at 2 pm and extended into the late night, concluded on Sunday. Sources state that Khan aimed to complete the shoot promptly to transition smoothly into post-production.
Sitaire Zameen Par, anticipated as the sequel to the 2007 hit Taare Zameen Par, is also a remake of the 2018 Spanish sports comedy Campeones. Aamir Khan and Genelia D’Souza play the leading roles.
Khan, known for his meticulous filmmaking, closely monitors every production detail. The team plans to start focus group screenings in February 2025 to refine the storyline.
Although initially set for a December 2024 release, Khan has postponed the premiere to summer 2025, ensuring the film meets his standards of perfection.
