Supreme Court of Pakistan yesterday, admitted for hearing, a petition filed by the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) challenging the formation of military courts under the 21st constitutional amendment.
A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk would begin hearing on January 28. The other two members of the bench included Justice Gulzar and Justice Mushir Alam.
PTI’s senior leader Hamid Khan has been nominated to plead the case.
