The Academy Awards producers have confirmed 2026 Oscars performers and musical tributes for the 98th edition of the ceremony, including two major on-stage segments inspired by the films Sinners and KPop Demon Hunters.
Executive producers Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan said the performances draw from “two of the most impactful cultural phenomena in cinema.”
The ceremony will feature a tribute to K-pop Demon Hunters, built around the folklore that inspired the Netflix animated film.
The segment will open with a blend of instrumental music and traditional Korean dances. After that, EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Reri Ami will perform “Golden” live—an Oscar-nominated original song performed in the film by the fictional group HUNTR/X.
Sinners Tribute: Music Takes Centre Stage
A second musical tribute will spotlight Sinners, directed by Ryan Coogler, with a focus on the role music plays in the film’s narrative.
The source text says Sinners made history as the most nominated film in Oscar history. During the tribute, breakout actor Miles Caton and Oscar-nominated composer Raphael Saadiq will perform “I Lied to You,” which is nominated for best original song.
The producers also listed several other participants expected to appear as part of the event’s musical production:
