Global artists and musicians will focus on the Recording Academy’s prestigious awards event, which is widely recognized as “the Grammys.”
For the 2024 edition, the Academy introduces three novel categories among its accolades: Best African Music Performance, Best Alternative Jazz Album, and Best Pop Dance Recording.
Comedian Trevor Noah is slated to host the ceremony at the Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles. CBS broadcasted the event live at 8 p.m. ET, and online viewing will be available via Paramount+.
Attendees and viewers can anticipate awards across numerous categories tonight. The Recording Academy will reveal winners in 80 out of 94 categories during the “Premiere Ceremony” at 3:30 pm ET, ahead of the main event.
This pre-telecast ceremony will be accessible live on the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel and grammy.com.
