The Income Tax Department has asked Regional office Karachi to restrain Ayyan Ali from selling an apartment located in the posh Creek Vista housing scheme, located in DHA Karachi for non-payment of Rs15.321 million as income tax.
According to Regional Tax officer “The Regional Tax Office has attached the apartment to restrain the model from selling it. The flat, located at Creek Vista apartment in the Defence Housing Authority, Karachi, had been attached after Ms Ali failed to deposit the remaining amount of income tax”
The tax authorities have collected Rs. 3.536m income tax from Ayyan Ali
Income Tax Department has demanded Rs18.857m income tax on the basis of assets Ayyan Ali has possessed. The main source of income tax demand is $506,000, the amount Ayyan Ali was allegedly trying to smuggle abroad.
