‘I Am Karachi’ Youth Festival 2015 concluded recently with Sindh’s longest-serving governor, Dr. Ishrat ul Ibad’s stunning guitar performance!
Yes, you read it right. Pakistan’s youngest governor ever to hold office in Sindh strummed out the tunes of a popular Bollywood romantic song “Tum Hi Ho” on an electric guitar to perfection, surprising everyone. He carried the tune well and in sync with the band.
The ‘I Am Karachi’ Youth Festival 2015′ was a week-long event with around 20,000 participants, aged between 15 to 29, taking part in talent competitions, showcasing their musical, photography, theater acting, writing, debate and artistic skills.
The festival was attended by a number of local and international renowned artists including Naseeruddin Shah, politicians and social workers. With an aim to provide a platform to aspiring artists, the festival was organized by the Arts Council Karachi and received a bigger and better response than last year.
The winners in each category competition were awarded cash prizes while participants received certificates.
