Karachi: A resolution against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain was approved by majority in the Sindh Assembly on Friday.
The resolution was tabled by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) and Pakistan Muslim league-Nawaz (PML-N).
The resolution condemns the statements of Altaf Hussain asking for intervention by foreign institutions and countries in the internal matters of Pakistan and statements against the Pakistan Army and Sindh Rangers.
Altaf Hussain’s statements asking for the breakup of Sindh have also been strongly condemned in the resolution.
The resolution calls on the House to recommend to the Sindh government to approach the Federal government for strong action against Altaf Hussain for objectionable utterances and take legal action against him.
