The party has arranged Quran Khwani and Fateha in ever district, while the main event will be held in the Bhutto’s hometown Garhi Khuda Bakhsh.
Accoring to PPP officials, the day will start with Quran Khwani followed by langar or free food. After midday the main jalsa will start where PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto will address the party supporters. The party workers will observe two-minute silence at 5:20pm to pay homage to the martyred leader, followed by Fateha at 5:25pm.
After the jalsa, Bilawal will address the central executive committee meeting of PPP at Naudero House. According to party sources, the issue of the federal government’s meddling in Sindh affairs, in particular the special powers of Rangers, will come up during the meeting.
Meanwhile, caravans of PPP jiyalas continue arriving in Larkana, where at least 20 walk through gates have been installed for security purposes.
Moreover, an area of 3km the tombs of the Bhutto family has been declared a red zone and 22 police checkpoints have been set up to meet any untoward incident.
