At least five people were killed and seventeen injured in a suicide bomb blast in an imambargah in Rawalpindi on Friday night.
The blast took place outside Abu Muhammad Imambargah located in densely populated area of Chitian Hatian in Rawalpindi.
Police and rescue teams reached the scene and shifted the wounded to District Headquarters Hospital.
Police confirmed the death of at least three people in the blast.
Reports say that Mehfil-e-Milad was under way in the imambargah when the blast occurred.
