Karachi Rangers and Police in targeted operations in several locations killed four terrorists and a wanted criminal late on Saturday.

According to Rangers spokesman, the paramilitary force launched an overnight action in Lyari area on the basis of intelligence report. The miscreants opened fire at the security men as soon as they arrived in the area.

The criminals were identified as Adnan Baloch and Sajid alias Ganga—hailed from Uzair Jan Baloch group and were wanted to police in multiple counts of crimes including kidnapping for ransom and targeted killings.

Another intelligence-based operation was carried out in Teesar town area of Karachi where two terrorists were killed in shootout with police.

A wanted criminal, identified as Abdul Wahab, was killed by Mominabad police in an encounter. He was wanted in 47 different cases.

On the other hand, ten suspected ‘target-killers’ were nabbed by police during search operation in different areas. Officials said three of the arrested ‘target-killers’ belong to MQM (Altaf group), three to MQM Haqiqi and four to religious banned organization.
