Private schools owners in Punjab have adamantly refused to open their schools on Monday until their demands are met by the provincial government.
Punjab Education Minister Rana Mashood said the schools would open on Monday and the government would take every possible step to provide security to the educational institutes.

He said a meeting of owners of private schools has been convened on Sunday to discuss the situation. Kashif Mirza, President of All Pakistan Private School Federation, demanded of the government to end the atmosphere of fear.
