Lahore police has arrested two suspects and recovered 35 maunds of donkey and horses meat from Harbanspura.
According to police sources, the illegal meat of the donkeys and horses was to be sent to markets after the slaughter early this morning. Two people involved in the heinous business have been taken in custody.
The meat is usually sold early in the morning to the city’s local restaurants swarmed by customers all the time.
