Peshawar Zalmi win the second edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Peshawar Zalmi thrashed Quetta Gladiators by 58 runs in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017 final on Sunday at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
Quetta Gladiators had a terrible start, chasing 149-run target against Peshawar Zalmi. They were all out on just 90 runs.
Earlier, a late-order surge from captain Darren Sammy helped Peshawar Zalmi post 148 runs.
Zalmi kicked off their innings with three solid boundaries by opener Kamran Akmal. The middle order appeared to collapse under pressure halfway through the game.
Peshawar Zalmi emerged victorious in the final whereas Quetta Gladiators despite qualifying for the final for the second successive time could not win any title in the PSL.
