Peshawar: Terrorist attempt to target security forces in Peshawar failed on Friday when a roadside bomb exploded just after their vehicle passed. None was injured in the blast.
According to police, the incident took place in Achini Bala locality of Peshawar where a bomb planted on roadside went off soon after a vehicle carrying security troops passed.
Officials said terrorists had planted a remote-controlled bomb, weighing around one kg, apparently to target patrolling troops.
No casualties were reported following the blast as police and security forces cordoned off the area in search for miscreants.
