Former president General (Rtd) Pervez Musharraf in an interview with India media (TVTN Managing Editor Rahul Kanwal) on Wednesday said that Indian Prime Minister Modi has to change his attitude and avoid waging a ‘proxy wa’r against Pakistan.
Talking to the Indian media, Musharraf alleged that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the enemy of Muslims and have anti-Pakistan sentiments.
He alleged that the tension between India and Pakistan on Line of Control (LoC) have started after Modi has taken office of Prime Minister.
He said Pakistan is perfectly capable of its own defense and Pakistan can even consider (resorting) to nuclear weapons for the purpose of defense if it” absolutely has to”.
He said that Pakistan will never turn its back on protecting its eastern borders.
Musharraf maintained that there were no terrorists infiltrating into India from Pakistani side. He said it is rather India that is interfering in Balochistan.
“There is absolute evidence of your consulates in Jalalabad and your RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) indulging in all kinds of activities in Pakistan’s Balochistan province and other places,” he claimed.
