On the occasion of 50th anniversary of 1965 war sirens would be blown at 9.29 am and one- minute silence would be observed to pay homage to martyres and Ghazis of 1965 war.
National anthem would be broadcast on TV and radio, a spokesman of Government of Pakistan said Saturday. On the directives of IBNH Minister the officers of IBNH Ministry would join the entire nation in observence of one-minute silence.
At federal level Minister for IBNH Senator Pervaiz Rashid would preside over the ceremony at PTV Centre Islamabad and officers of the concerned departments of IBNH would be present there at 9. 29 am.
At the provincial level the ceremony would be held at PTV provincial centres. Minister of IBNH Senator Pervaiz Rashid has invited provincial information ministers to attend the ceremony as chief guests. (APP)
