The Sindh High Court (SHC) conducted the hearing of a contempt case against former chairman of MCB, Mian Mansha and ex-president MCB, Atif Bajwa on Wednesday.
According to local news channels, in a hearing at SHC the petitioner took stance that despite court orders Mansha and Atif did not submit their affidavits.
The petitioner plead that Mansha also not appeared before the court even after a year’s time.
In 2013, Mian Mansha and Atif Bajwa were ordered by the Sindh High Court to submit their affidavit within seven days.
The petitioner also plead that the former chairman of MCB is continuously violating the court orders and requested the SHC to bound Mian Mansha to appear before it and record his statement.
Moreover, the SHC adjourned the hearing of the contempt case against Mian Mansha and Atif Bajwa till December 19.
