Five people, including two cops and a doctor, were killed in separate incidents of violence in Karachi yesterday.
According to reports, two gunmen riding a motorbike shot and killed two on-duty policemen near Gol Market at Nazimabad in a target killing incident. The victims, who were shot in their heads, were identified as Constable Abdul Ghafoor and Muhammad Farooq.
Police reached the scene and shifted the bodies to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
In another incident, Rehan Atiq, 45, was gunned down at his shop near Railway Crossing in Nazimabad. Dr Farooq Sheikh was targeted as he left his clinic for home at Gulberg.
One mutilated dead body was found dumped under Lasbela Bridge.
