The Judicial Commission (JC) to probe allegations of rigging in the 2013 General Elections sought proposals from political parties to submit brief statement accompanied by supporting evidence or material.
The JC also asked to submit proposals to the Secretary to the Commission by April 15.
The JC has decided that the proceeding of the Judicial Commission will be held in open court.
The three-member commission, headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Nasir-Ul-Mulk, comprising Justice Amir Hani Muslim and Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, held its first meeting at the Supreme Court.

The Chief Justice also appointed Hamid Ali (Secretary to CJP) as the Commission’s Secretary.
The first public hearing of the Commission would take place on April 16.
The Supreme Court in a notification defined the modalities stating that any person can submit proof pertaining to election rigging by April 15 to the Secretary Commission.
In the notification, the Commission has also sought recommendations from all political parties which contested the 2013 General Elections.
The Commission will present its report on rigging allegations within 45 days.
The Commission was constituted by Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk on Wednesday in pursuance of the request sent by the Ministry of Law, Justice and Human Rights under General Elections 2013 Inquiry Commission Ordinance 2015. (PhotoNews / APP)
