Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, on Tuesday directed Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to investigate allegations by the New York Times’s report regarding sell of fake degrees by Exact Pakistan.
On Monday, The New York Times claimed that Axact Pakistan, is involved in worldwide scam of selling fake degrees reaped millions of dollars.

The minister has directed Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to initiate an enquiry to determine authenticity of the report.
In the Senate session today, Senator Aitzaz Ahsan, of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) raised the issue and urged the federal government to clear its position.
The debate prompted Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani to refer the issue to a relevant committee of the Senator.
