Five members of a family were killed as unidentified gunmen opened fire on them here on Friday.
According to police, the incident took place in Alizai area of the city where the gunmen entered into a house of ex-policeman Hashim last night and killed his family members.
The victims were identified as Hashim, his wife Shasheena, son Aamir and two daughters Sadia and Fozia.
The police shifted their bodies to a nearby hospital for post mortem and started investigation.
The police also termed the incident as a result of old enmity.
